I've been doing crafts for over 25 years including knitting, crochet, cross
stitch, tole painting, to name just a few. I can still remember many years
ago when my
memère Henrie showed me how to knit. I find it fascinating, and hard to believe,
that my 80 year old grandmother sitting in her rocking chair would guide me onto what I'm doing today. She gave me
the boost I needed to pursue a dream.
In 2004, I started to handcraft my own jewellery (anklets, bracelets, earrings).
The response I got to my jewellery from family and friends was overwhelming. How thrilled
I was when everybody wanted a special piece of jewellery that I had created.
From 2004 onward, I have established my products in several areas including:
Bonar Law Farm - Rexton
Auberge le Vieux Presbytèra - Bouctouche
Bouctouche Farmers Market, and, recently in
Pays de la Sagouine - Bouctouche
Although I don't have a website, you can contact me by email: aldeo24@hotmail.com
The products that I offer make great gifts for friends or family.
In addition, one of my
goals was to make products that are priced so that children can afford them.
Last year I had many children that were delighted to see earrings made and priced especially for them.
I look forward to seeing you at my table at the Bouctouche Farmers Market
when you want buy that special piece of jewellery for a friend, family member,
or to give on a special occasion.
